This book chronicles the adventure of twelve-year-old Tadpole "Tad" of the Fisher Tribe and his many friends. It all begins when Tad's spear falls into their lake, and he dives in to get it. Underwater, he hears the silvery, sinister voice of the Water Nixie Azabel. He then goes on a journey to stop Azabel, restore the water, and save the Tribes of Rune's world.
